Named Guillaume Brière, Vladimir Cauchemar is a mortuary-looking alter-ego, reminiscent of Vladimir’s death in Greek mythology. The antique Vladimir was a flute-player, and today’s Vladimir is bringing this instrument, feared by generations of schoolchildren, up to date. Master of the turntables and the beat, Vladimir Cauchemar is the big winner of our time. He wears a life-like human skull with a heart tattooed on it. Vladimir Cauchemar is also known for his collaborations with the elite of the French rap scene (Orelsan, Lomepal, Eddy de Pretto, Laylow…), French pop superstar Clara Luciani, and a host of international artists (6ix9ine, Alyona Alyona, Roméo Elvis, Chilla, Caballero & JeanJass…). Even though he hasn’t released an album yet, Vladimir Cauchemar has already enchanted us… like the legendary flute player Hamelin once did.
